Telemetrics, a leader in camera robotics and control systems, will demonstrate a new, more fully featured “Advanced” control panel – the RCCP-1A – at the 2017 IBC Show. The software now includes the revolutionary reFrame™ Automatic Shot Correction technology that locks cameras onto the talent and automatically trims the shot… without the operator ever having to touch the controls.
Designed for larger Broadcast Studios and Legislative production centers, the new RCCP-1A leverages the reliability and accuracy of the RCCP-1, but includes a higher end processor that supports more complex keyframe based-motion paths. This new control panel also includes a built-in HD SDI input that allows users to capture snapshot thumbnails for camera angles and live video preview.
As with the RCCP-1, the new model still features all of the camera shading tools that natively support broadcast cameras (including those from Grass Valley, Hitachi, Ikegami, JVC, Panasonic, Sony, and Telemetrics) without requiring a separate camera control unit (CCU).
