MediaTech continues to upgrade the technical infrastructure for professional broadcasting. Sony FR7 cameras — full-frame cinema line PTZ cameras that combine cinematic image quality with robotic camera functionality — have been installed and put into operation at Baku TV.
The cameras are operated through the Sony RM-IP500 control panel, a professional solution for remote operation of PTZ cameras over an IP network. The RM-IP500 allows an operator to control multiple cameras simultaneously from a single workstation, providing precise adjustment of focus, iris, and white balance, along with smooth pan/tilt/zoom control.
The combination of the Sony FR7 and RM-IP500 gives the broadcaster the ability to achieve cinematic-quality footage while reducing on-set staffing requirements, as a single operator can efficiently manage several cameras at once. This setup is particularly well suited for studio programs, talk shows, and news broadcasts, where both visual quality and operational speed are essential.
Installation and configuration were carried out by MediaTech specialists in accordance with the facility's technical requirements. The implementation of the Sony FR7 / RM-IP500 system marks another step forward in the development of Baku TV's technical infrastructure and the overall improvement of production quality.
