Sony introduced the new 4K HDR camcorders XDCAM PXW-Z90 and NXCAM HXR-NX80 with Fast Hybrid autofocus system. The Fast Hybrid AF system ensures highly accurate focusing during shooting, with 273 phase AF systems covering approximately 84% of the frame.
The PXW-Z90 is equipped with all the features needed for television production. For example, XAVC recording is provided, providing quality images in 4:2:2 10-bit (HD) and 4:2:0 8-bit (QFHD), in addition to the usual MPEG 2HD format. Additional innovations include 3G SDI and network functions for easy integration into news suites, such as compatibility with XDCAM air.
The new camcorders support 4K HDR recording in HLG (Hybrid Log-Gamma) format, enabling HDR workflows. It allows you to reduce post-production work and easily produce high-quality HDR content without color grading, which typically requires advanced technical skills and knowledge.
